Instructions
0/4Breadcrumb preparation
Beat the egg in a bowl. Prepare a plate with the wheat flour. Dry the feta block thoroughly with paper towels so the coating sticks perfectly.
3 minCoating the cheese
Pass the feta block through the flour, then the beaten egg, and finally through the flour again. The crust must be uniform without any gaps.
2 minPan frying
Heat olive oil in a pan. When the oil shimmers, add the feta. Let it brown for 2 to 3 minutes per side until the crust is golden and rigid.
5 minFinishing and serving
Place the feta on a plate. Immediately pour the honey over it so it liquefies on contact with the heat. Sprinkle with crushed walnuts, sesame seeds, and a pinch of thyme.

Chef's tips
- •Make sure the pan is very hot before adding the cheese to sear the crust instantly.
- •Do not over-handle the block during cooking to prevent it from breaking.
Storage
Eat immediately. Feta hardens as it cools and loses its melting texture.
